African Crowned Eagles

This picture shows the adult pair of African Crowned Eagles that have been using a nest at the south east end of Springside Nature Reserve for several years now. They have a juvenile offspring that is still nest bound despite being as big as his parents! The parents are also clearly getting the nest ready for a possible new egg laying plan, which plan may well be thwarted by the teenager! We will be watching closely to see what transpires.
