Request to Springside Nature Reserve visitors, please send us your sightings of Flora and Fauna in Springside Nature Reserve, preferably with supporting photographs. Trish Dinkelman sent us photographs of her sighting near the small weir on 17 January 2020 of a Mountain Wagtail, not previously seen in Springside Nature Reserve. Another first-timer was the recording of the Eulophia parvilabris in Springside Nature Reserve, also by Trish, proving the importance of visitors to Springside Nature Reserve reporting their observations. Alan Taylor reported a first-timer, a Red-backed Shrike a non-breeding summer visitor, seen during his walk on 17 December 2019, but unfortunately he did not manage to obtain a supporting photograph.
