As part of our policy to assist eThekwini in the management and improvement of Springside Nature Reserve, Hillcrest Conservancy donated 2 pairs of Loppers to the eThekwini staff for use in their on-going efforts to eradicate Alien & Invasive vegetation in Springside Nature Reserve. Their slashers were ineffective and loppers will enable easier and targeted application of a specific herbicide.
